Covid Safe Plan

Like a lot of Melbourne businesses who are about to reopen after a long 6 months of lockdown Melbourne Dj Hire have to come up with a Covid Safe Plan for all the future bookings coming up towards the end of the year and early next year. Our Melbourne Djs will be briefed heavily on our new Covid Safe Plan so that our business is being responsible and safe and help to protect our clients and guests.

Melbourne Djs are actually quite contactless. Once our staff show up at the venue, all we really do is set up our equipment and then play music for the rest of the night. On occasions some guests will come up to our djs and request a song. But our Melbourne Djs will be required to wear a mask during the whole duration of the job including setting up and packing up. Wearing a mask protects the guests from any airborne virus particles that may come from another person and a mask also reduces the chances of the wearer breathing in the airborne virus particles as well.

The microphone is the only piece of equipment that the client will touch and our Melbourne Djs will make sure that the microphone is sanitised after every use so that there is no chance of spreading any germs.

Due to the social distancing rules in place, there may be a limit of people on the dance floor. If that is the case the Melbourne Dj could help the venue out by making an announcement on the dance floor and tell a certain amount of people to leave the dance floor and come back when there is more space on the dance floor. Weddings pre covid only had dancing during the last couple of hours of the night. But post covid weddings might have some dance brackets during the entire night, some slow dancing with the couple and family and then also some classic tunes for the older guests, then the last part of the night could be the RnB for the younger guests.
