House parties are becoming more popular due to the closure of dancefloors at venues. There is no limit towards the number of guests that can visit your home so a lot of families are hosting their parties at home. If the property has ample outdoor space that’s even better. Over the weekend, Melbourne DJ Hire worked at a couple of house parties.
In this post we will talk about the different types of entertainment for a house party. At the 21st Birthday party we worked at, the mother hired a Melbourne DJ to set up in an outdoor dancefloor on the property. The parents had hired a large marquee that was also decorated with hanging fairy lights, there was also a wooden dancefloor that was set up over the lawn so the guests could dance. One of our talented photographers was also hired to take some family photos and photos of guests as they enjoyed the party. The parents also set up a beer pong table where the friends of the birthday boy gathered to play games.
One of our photographers was also hired for a 1st birthday party at a house. It was relatively relaxed with immediate family and a magician was hired to entertain the guests. The magician performed a magic show to entertain the kids as well as some card tricks and mind reading tricks to stun the adults. This was a great idea to bring an extra party element to the event. The kids were happy and the adults had some sort of entertainment as well.
There are a lot of options for entertainment for a house party, depending on the age group there can be tattoo artists, mechanical bulls, musicians, magicians, caricaturist and dancers could be hired to provide a show and make your house party a memorable event for your guests. If you do not have the budget to hire external performers, you could get creative and set up a beer pong table, pinatas, pass the parcel, water balloons the options are endless and there are so many more flexible options for house parties.
