Melbourne DJ Hire, have been working in the events industry for a while now and our services are also expanding. We sent one of our talented photographers to shoot a Media Launch the other week. Back when Melbourne DJ Hire first started the business, we were limited to working at private parties, weddings and some corporate jobs. Since we have introduced photobooth and photographers to the mix of services we are now working for a broad range of events, like promo shoots and media launches.
The media launch that our photographer shot has been delayed for 2 years due to covid and now that events are back on they decided to go ahead with their function. The organisers had set up a media wall for guest to take photos at as they arrived to the function. Media walls are the best option as a backdrop for branded photos as the logo or brand could be displayed on repeat on the large backdrop. Guests could stand anywhere around the media wall and the logos would still come through in the photos.
After the guests arrived, they started mingling and networking. Our photographer was then able to capture some candid photos as well as groups of friends and co workers. The later part of the night was the formal part of the night where there were speakers and panellists who held a discussion about the media launch. Our photographer was there to capture candids of the speakers for the clients to use on their newsletters and social media. During large media launches, it is also a good idea to have a photographer or videographer document the evening so you can use footage and images for future use.
The end of the function was full of more mingling and network and our photographer finished the night by taking some roaming shots of the guests and some candids. The organisers and speakers also gathered together at the media wall to take some formal photos together.
