Terms and Conditions

Payments

By paying a deposit, the hirer is agreeing to the Terms & Conditions listed here. A deposit is necessary to secure the event time and date. Until a deposit is received, the date cannot be confirmed. The outstanding amount must be paid at least 14 days before the event, unless agreed otherwise in the quote.

Cancellations

Deposit’s are non refundable. If the event is cancelled for any reason the deposit can be used for a future booking, within a 6 month period, providing at least 30 days notice is given.

Refunds

Customers are not entitled to a partial or full refund if they are simply not happy how the we performed at your event. However, we take feedback very seriously and we will endeavour to do our best to reach a fair and suitable outcome to satisfy both parties.

Delivery & Setup

No discounts are given if our staff is running late due to difficulty of access into the venue. To avoid delays, please ensure a close car space is arranged for our staff to unload and park for the event. Our DJs will also require full shelter and close access to power.

Use of images

When hiring from Melbourne Dj Hire, the hirer gives permission for images taken at the event to be used for promotional and advertising purposes, unless advised prior to the event that they would not like their images used. We will not use images which are deemed unsuitable on their website or for advertising and will not use any content that may be personally damaging to any person/s.

Misbehaviour

The client takes full responsibility of the behaviour of themselves and all their guests at their event, regardless if they are invited or not. Our staff will not tolerate any form of misbehaviour such as physical, verbal or intimidating actions. Our staff will shutdown if we are subjected to such behaviour until the matter has been resolved. If the matter has not been resolved in a timely manner, then our staff will pack down equipment and leave the premises. No Refund will be given as our staff have the right to work in a safe environment.

Injury/Damage

The client is responsible and liable for any costs associated with any injury to our staff or damage to our equipment or vehicles, caused by any person in attendance at the event, whom is invited or uninvited.
