Covid – Australia

Melbourne has had a couple of months of zero covid cases. But just last week there was a little outbreak of covid cases in Sydney. As a result a lot of residents from Sydney booked early tickets to leave Sydney before a potential lockdown so that they could still see their family for Christmas in 2020. 

Unfortunately the new covid cases in Sydney have had a small impact on Melbourne Dj Hire and the entertainment industry in general in Melbourne. A lot of couples and people who are planning events are still holding off from locking in their weddings and parties just in case there is another outbreak in Melbourne and we have to go into lockdown again. Due to the lockdown Melbourne experienced earlier this year a lot of people are trying to be more cautious and to take this virus more seriously. Melbourne Dj Hire have noticed that a lot of people have made enquires about their upcoming parties but have just held off from booking and are seeing how things will turn out before they commit to booking. 

Bride and grooms have also been impacted by the covid cases in Sydney. Some couples who have family in Sydney have to either decide whether they are going to carry on with the wedding without their close family members present on their big day or to reschedule yet again so that they can have their dream wedding with all their family around. 

We truly hope that our neighbours in Sydney get this virus under control and Sydney residents get to see their family and friends in other states after such a mentally tough year. After the year we have all had, we would all like to throw a party, get dressed up, have and dance and take some fun photos with our family.
