Entertaining Kids – Dj For Hire Melbourne

If you are fortunate enough to be a parent, when your child’s birthday comes around you would most likely want to organise a memorable party for them. Melbourne Dj hire work at kids parties almost every week and it can be very hard entertaining kids. Occasionally we are booked to play music at a party for kids under 10 and there is a mix of kids who love dancing, some kids who just want to run around and then sometimes younger siblings and their friends are also invited to the party so you need to entertain a big range of age groups.

One kids party our Melbourne Dj worked at was a little girls 10th birthday and entertaining kids at the event was tricky. All the girls danced to commercial pop music but there were also a few little toddlers and preschoolers at the party. Our clients and the other adults at the party actually joined in on the dance floor and danced with each other and their kids. Some of the parents even asked if they could request their child’s favourite song. Some songs were pop songs you hear on the radio and some were a little different. Like playing a song from their favourite Disney movie.

It isn’t just at birthday parties where our Melbourne Djs are responsible for entertaining kids but we are also hired for public events. Events that raise awareness to a certain cause or organisation. One public event Melbourne Dj hire worked at we worked closely with a performer who taught the kids how to safely cross the road and there was a song and dance routine. There was also a jumping castle and other activities for kids of all ages to stay and have fun while learning about the cause.

Entertaining kids is a fun gig. Totally different to our average party but the day is full of fun and energy.
