Rock Party

Melbourne Dj Hire worked at the dress up party over the weekend that was a Rock theme, the birthday boy asked everyone to dress up in their favourite big hair rock star costumes and there were some amazing looks that turned up. The client booked our DJ and photography package and our Melbourne DJ played some popular 80s rock tracks at the start of the rock party and then all the hard rock and roll at towards the end when everyone got boozed up and were ready to dance. 

There were a lot of Madonna’s that showed up to the rock party, a Lenny Kravitz, a lot of Alice Coopers, ACDC and just a lot of big hair and popular wigs in general. The client also booked our roaming photographer to capture the night. When you organise a costume party, it is a very good idea to hire a photobooth or photographer to capture the moments and more importantly to get photo of everyone’s costume. Guests have gone to a great effort and thought to put together their look and you would like to remember it all when the party is over. 

Costume parties are a great way for guests to break the ice when they are at the party, guests are dressed up in a character or they could dress up in a silly costume and that brings out a little more humour and fun out of them. Guests who also dress up in the same outfit all have a nice chat with each other and end up grabbing a photo together in the photobooth or the photographer will capture some fun shots with those guests. 

Melbourne DJ Hire have worked at a lot of 80s parties but this party was our first, 70s/ 80s big hair rock party and it sure was a great theme. The photos turned out brilliant and the night was full of laughs and dancing.
