Last weekend, Melbourne DJ Hire had the pleasure of working at Roxy’s, a trendy South Melbourne venue tucked away in an alleyway off Clarendon St. As soon as you step off the bustling street and head down the alley, the vibe hits you. A glowing neon sign lights the way, with a red carpet leading guests to the entrance, immediately setting a stylish and chic tone for the evening.

Inside, Roxy’s is a blend of elegance and versatility. Half the venue is draped in flowing white curtains, with the rest showcasing beautifully painted white brick walls. The space features lavish decor, including striking burgundy rose displays, and sophisticated gold and black accents throughout, giving it a luxurious feel. The venue also boasts its own bar and plush lounge seating, offering the perfect spot for guests to relax and unwind in between dancing.

However, our client for the night had bigger plans for the venue, transforming Roxy’s into a high-energy nightclub for her birthday celebration, complete with a wild theme. The space’s flexible design allowed for a seamless transition, creating the perfect backdrop for the party. Melbourne DJ Hire provided both the DJ and photobooth for the event, and both were major hits with the crowd.

Our DJ kicked off the night with popular anthems, getting guests onto the dancefloor right from the start. The energy was infectious, and with each track, the excitement in the room grew. Meanwhile, the photobooth was constantly buzzing with activity. Guests, decked out in their wild-themed costumes, flocked to take photos with fun props. The client even provided animal hats and fur accessories, adding an extra layer of fun to the experience.Overall, Roxy’s proved to be the perfect venue for this unforgettable birthday bash, and we were thrilled to be part of it, ensuring a night filled with music, laughter, and great memories.
