SCROLL – DJ HIRE MELBOURNE

Melbourne Dj Hire were booked for a kids party the other day for a kids party. The party was held for a Bat Mitzvah for a girls 12th Birthday and the parents pulled out all the stops to create a memorable day and did not spare any expense. The party was held at a beachfront venue in St Kilda, there was plenty of space on the beach for all the kids to play as well at the perfect opportunity to take photos. The parents had hired outdoor giant play equipment set up on the beach, there was giant connect 4, giant jenga and also giant plastic spheres where the kids could climb into and roll around and get pushed on the sand, even racing one another to a finish line. The outdoor games were a great idea because the kids were entertained while the adults so sit inside and relax.

But the main star attraction was the Scroll ice cream cart. Scroll is an ice cream shop that is based in Melbourne but they also have portable carts and stands that they can set up at events, the carts have 2 cold plates on them so the Scroll ice cream maker can create the delicious servings of ice cream on the spot. The clients had picked 2 flavours and the guests lined up to wait for their tasty dessert to be ready. The Scroll staff would mix cream, sauces and toppings together on the cold plate and then smear it on the cold plate and then roll it up with a scrapper creating and ice cream ‘scroll’.

Then after all the food and treats were served our Melbourne DJ would play the tradition songs so all the friends and family could get on the dance floor and have a dance. It was an honour for Melbourne Dj Hire to be chosen for this epic kids party and the fact that our Melbourne DJ got to enjoy a delicious Scroll ice cream was the cherry on top of a great event.
