Byblos Function Room

Melbourne Dj hire worked at a 21st at the Byblos function room over the weekend. The event was organised by the mother of the birthday girl and our Melbourne DJ and roaming photographer were booked to look after the event. The parents also organised an incredible balloon display by James Kreates Balloons as a backdrop for the birthday girl to take photos with her friends and family.

Byblos is a Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurant that is surrounded by the Melbourne waterfront. The upstairs function room has a balcony that overlooks the Yarra riverfront venues and has a great sunset view. The restaurant and function space also has a dazzling interior decor that is decorated with eye catching mirror mosaic artwork, coloured lamps, lavish draped curtains and so much more. It really is a function room that transports you into a culture and world. 

Being a Mediterranean restaurant, Byblos would also obviously have a mouthwatering Lebanese menu as well. This event was a cocktail event and the guests were served with a range of exquisite meat skewers, tasty veggie dips and savoury pastries. All the guests were commenting on how unique and exotic the menu was and not to mention the tastiness of the food. 

Our Melbourne DJ also had a sound booth where were could set up at and connect into the in house speakers that Byblos already had in place. The dance floor was the ideal size for a small scale birthday party of 50-60 people, the birthday girl and her friends jumped from dancing on the dancefloor to taking photos by the balloon backdrop and it worked really well on the night. 

Byblos is a very attractive function venue for a lot of party planners, with their one of a kind interior design, their waterfront views and last but not least their tempting menu. Party organisers who want something different and memorable for their guests then Byblos is the perfect venue.
