End of year functions – Djs

It is that time of the year again, Melbourne Dj Hire are slowing getting booked out for all end of the year functions. Some of our clients organise their Christmas parties a little earlier. Some of the organisers book their end of year functions as early as October and some push the Christmas party back to January or February. It does make a lot of sense for some types of businesses. Some businesses like retail or hospitality book their Christmas parties earlier because the end of the year gets so busy for them that there is no way their staff could take a rest and go to a party. 

End of year functions are a great way to get the staff together in the one room to celebrate the success of the business. Staff get excited and get to dress up and have a few drinks and relax with their colleagues instead of being in a work environment. They get to enjoy the music that the Melbourne Dj is playing and get to hit the dancefloor, there could be a photobooth involved where the staff could all join in on a group photo and have some fun. 

Some function venues and a lot of entertainment service providers also have higher prices during the peak weekends of the year and especially on the last 4 Saturday nights leading up to Christmas. So moving your end of year function to October or early November could save your company money and also give your guest more time to organise their own Christmas chores like shopping for presents or organising their own parties outside of work.
