Events In 2021

Melbourne Dj Hire had a pretty good run at the start of the year through to May, after that we have been in and out of lockdowns for months and with a big spike in cases it doesn’t look like there is an end in site. The NSW government has released a roadmap out of covid for all people who are vaccinated and it looks like weddings of under 50 people will be permitted and dancing will also be allowed. This is great news for all the entertainers like musicians, Djs, photobooth owners and photographers in Sydney. 
After this roadmap was released, it gave a lot of the businesses in the Melbourne entertainment industry a lot of hope. For the last 3-4 months a lot of Melbourne DJs, photographers and other contractors in the party industry were struggling to plan for the end of the year. Will we be out of work for the rest of the year? Should we be telling our staff to find another job? Now that our neighbouring state has a plan to move forward, we are hoping that our state can release a plan so that people can start thinking about 2021 party dates. 
When restrictions were lifted last year in November, all the parties that Melbourne DJ Hire worked at had full dancefloors, people were happy to party, dance and drink with their loved ones. When the 2021 party dates will be released, we can expect the same thing to happen, a lot of bride and grooms will quickly snap up the dates and go ahead with their weddings and because there is a limited number of guests, all the people at the wedding will be the closest circle of friends and family. Melbourne DJ Hire have always enjoyed playing at these small close-knit events, guests all know each other really well and the atmosphere is a lot more relaxed compared to a large-scale wedding of over 100 people.
