Fine Dining – Melbourne Djs

Melbourne Dj hire recently sent a Melbourne DJ to play for a corporate function for one of Australia’s top insurance corporations. The function was held at a fancy hotel in the city and even though the hotel offer in house catering packages our client chose to hire an external caterer. Mainly it was to impress the guests of the event as most of the guests were important clients. Some of these clients were from interstate and overseas so the organisers wanted to impress them with local fine dining cuisine and local ingredients.

There were a lot of local seafood canapes created to feed the VIP guests. Spanner crab, octopus and maron was incorporated in some of the dishes as well as platters of local prawns. Then the fine dining chefs went really creative with some dishes by putting a spin on some Australian classics. They created a dome of wagyu beef meat pie and tomato chutney, a vegemite and butter noodle and some fancy looking lamingtons in shot glasses, mini pavlovas with the freshest local fruits. The fine dining pieces came out looking like pieces of artwork on a plate and on the little bar tables around the function space there were little menus describing what each canape was. After the guests had a piece of canape they would look at the menus to find out what was in it.

It was a very fancy event with our Melbourne Dj playing some old school tracks as well as top 40 commercial tunes to please the wide range of age groups at the event. The guests got to sip on fancy cocktails the whole night so everyone got into a party mood quite early in the night. The cocktails bar was also very fancy with the bar staff creating some creative drink flavours using local finger limes, pomegranate, kumquats and feijoas were included in the tasty concoctions.

Melbourne DJ Hire had a great night of fun, food and drinks. It was definitely a special event that none of the guests will forget anytime soon.
