Late Christmas Party

Melbourne DJ Hire know when the busiest time of the year are for Christmas parties. They are the last 2 weeks of November and the first 2 weeks of December. This year however, we have had a lot of bookings come in for a late Christmas party, the last week before Christmas and even some parties a few days before Christmas. Some companies might have booked a function venue a few months ago but the Christmas rush of work has hit them and they contact Melbourne DJ Hire a few days before their event to lock in some entertainment. Some companies don’t even think about booking a venue for Christmas then a few weeks before Christmas they organise the party. 

Organising a late Christmas party can be quite a gamble in terms of the number of heads that show up. People usually put their leave in for work the week of Christmas, so if there are a lot of staff that are away for the party then your late Christmas party could be missing a lot of guests. The advantage of booking a venue later is that the function venues might have more availability as most companies avoid planning there parties that late in the year. 

We are sending a Melbourne DJ and our photobooth to our last Christmas party of the year on Monday the 23rd of December. The advantage to having the party on the 23rd is that the next day on the 24th the business closes for a week, all the staff have a day off and the staff can really enjoy themselves at the Christmas party and have a day to recover before Christmas.

Having a late Christmas party also means that a lot of contractors are free to service your function. Melbourne Dj hire have much more availability the last week before Christmas and that goes the same for our photobooths as well.
