The centre can obviously cater for exhibitions, conferences, seminars and once we even provided a Melbourne Dj for a gala dinner. One of the spaces in the exhibition centre was transformed into a pop up lavish space perfect for a gala dinner.

The exhibition centre is very much like a blank canvas, the spaces can be transformed into whatever space you need thanks to the partition doors, there are no pillars to get in the way of organising. The floors are also bare so different coloured carpet tiles can be set up to suit the theme of your event. One event that Melbourne Djs for Hire worked at had a blue and black theme and the expo designers set up the blue carpet tiles are the pathways that lead attendees all around the different exhibitors and the used black tiles to section off the different stalls.

The Convention center is the new area of the venue where there are an abundance of rooms and configurations. For example one seminar that our Melbourne DJ worked that had a large space for a small exhibit and also a large space for seminars and speeches and then there was a foyer area set up with tables for catering and also some bar tables for networking.

The food at MCEC is also very impressive, there is a large selection of different cuisines on the menu that will impress all the attendees. The juices and teas and drinks are sourced from Australian companies and they even serve vegemite during breakfast. There are selections of hot foods as well as great salads for the healthy attendee.
