The venue space is one the level above the dinosaur bone exhibits and there is a large space for about 12 tables and it is the perfect space for a large cocktail party.

Our Melbourne Dj set up in the corner of the space and there was even enough room for a dance floor. The lower level of the museum was also open to the event attendees to wonder around the exhibits. The guests could take photos with the dinosaur fossils, insect and butterfly display and also the taxidermy section.

The Melbourne museum is a great place to hold an event because it is something different to a restaurant or function room, there is ample parking in the area and it is also close to public transport. It is also a great place to hold an event if you are inviting families on the day as there is a lot of things to entertain the kids and a great way for them to learn while having fun.
