Family Day

Melbourne Dj hire and our partnering photo booth company Beauty and the Booth were recently booked to provide the entertainment services for a Family Day at some local childcare centers in Melbourne south eastern suburbs.

Each child care center organised a fun family day where there were Melbourne Djs, a photo booth, face painting a petting zoo and a barbecue. A few centers all did some little things different to each other, one of the centers organised a balloon artist to come in to make the kids balloon animals, they also organised a local cake maker to come to the center to sell some cupcakes, they also organised an arts and crafts station as well as a nail art station where the the kids could get their nails decorated. One of the other child care centers held their family day at an earlier time and they had booked a coffee cart to provide much needed coffees to the parents. They also organised a henna artist for the day.

Our Melbourne Dj was hired to play music in the playground of the child care center and to encourage a lot of dancing from the shy babies, our clients gave Melbourne Dj a whole box of prizes to give out throughout the day. Our Melbourne Dj was told to encourage the kids to all dance and at the end of every song the best dancer would get a prize. The prizes were just little gifts and costumes you can purchase at any $2 shop, little bouncy balls, funny glasses and many more. It was a very simple and cheap idea and because the kids got to receive a prize everyone was happy to dance along which gave the event a very lively atmosphere. Melbourne DJ Hire had a great time working at the family fun day and we have now got some great ideas on how to encourage little kids to dance!
