Uni Ball’s – Dj’s Melbourne
Working at the Melbourne University Festival of Nations and the Monash Uni Queer Ball
We were lucky enough to be invited by the University of Melbourne Student Union to provide a photobooth for their annual Festival of Nations. It was an event at the university square where several different clubs had stalls selling food and promoting services and celebrating all different nations and cultures, there were a mix of Melbourne djs, Melbourne musicians and performers.
Melbourne DJ hire and Beauty and the Booth have a mix of ethnicity of staff so it was so great to see so many clubs from so many different countries. There was a Sri Lankin club, Singapore club, Cantonese club and so much more. Every store sold speciality cuisine and drinks to raise funds for this club.
There was a big stage set up for incredible performances from the uni students with dance, live singing and bands as well as the DJ from Melbourne DJ hire. The photobooth was a big hit with the students and a big hit for the stall holders as well. They got to take photos of their whole team and got to have a silly fun break in the photobooth during a day of work.
The Queer Ball at Monash Uni was also a great one to work at. The ball was held at Sir Johns Bar which is a student bar inside the university, everyone was dressed up in their creative outfits and was just a lovely event to work it. The night was all about celebration and having fun and we had a great night at work.
Photobooths at schools and university’s are always a hit, friendship groups love getting in the booth and keeping a little memento of school or with their favourite teacher.
