Covid Safe Options

Melbourne Dj Hire have definitely taken a long break from working at gigs and during this time we have been developing some new covid safe options for events held during this strange time of virtual weddings and zoom conferences. Some schools and workplaces may organise small scale celebrations that are held on site, but they may not want to risk bringing in an external contractor in case the contractor brings in the virus onsite. 

Our Covid safe options are completely contactless. Melbourne Dj Hire do not need to attend the event onside to provide the service but we do provide the software for the prints or the photos. The team at Melbourne Dj Hire have offered the hashtag printing station as a covid safe option which is a service that can be used on the guests phone. The guests use their special hashtag on their Instagram photos and our software will pick up the hashtag and print off the photos in a Polaroid format. When the event is over Melbourne Dj Hire will then post the prints to the client to distribute to their guests. 

The other covid safe option that Melbourne Dj Hire has introduced is a virtual booth. The virtual booth has only been around since the covid pandemic and it is 100% contactless. The user is sent a URL website, they click on the link and it automatically takes them to the photobooth options. The users can select custom overlay frames that are unique to the event, a range of filters, stickers and also background removal. Background removal will be a popular option for 2020 as it would be fun to place someone’s face on an exotic overseas location, since no one can travel this year.
