Seated Events

It looks like seated events are the only permitted events in the coming months. Melbourne Dj Hire used to work at a lot of cocktail events every week, engagement parties, small scale weddings, birthday parties and corporate celebrations were some of the few cocktail parties we would work at. There hasn’t been a lot of information regarding stand-up cocktail parties and if they will be permitted in the future so a lot of party organisers have planned events with seated service. 
Seated events are more formal and structured but can be very successful and guests will still have a lot of fun while relaxing at their tables. Seated formals have presentations and awards with some dancing in between the meals, seated corporate parties are also full of presentations and the guests can also roam around to use the photobooth and the Melbourne DJ usually works with the MC to play music with presentations and take requests from guests. 
Our roaming photographer are also a great option for seated events. Our photographer will roam around the room to take photos of each table and also capture photos of couples, families and friends at their seats. The photographer will also take photos of guests entering the event and also can capture formalities like the presentations and awards. Then when the dancing starts, or photographers roam the dancefloor capturing photos of all the fun and smiles on everyone’s face. 
So seated events have more of a formal and structured vibe as opposed to a casual stand up cocktail party. Melbourne DJ Hire have worked at plenty of sit-down dinners and can advise you on how to structure the event so that the function has a great flow. Hiring a roaming photographer or a photobooth can also add some fun to the event and can get guests out of their seats.
