Ice Cream Van – Dj Hire

Melbourne Dj hire worked at a big house party the other day where there were over 200 guests invited. The family who booked our Melbourne Dj was moving overseas for work and invited all their family and friends to their house for a final good bye and catch up.

The family invited their kids friends and parents, friends and family members to celebrate. Our Melbourne Dj was set up undercover and played music into their large backyard which had a trampoline, pool and tennis court, more than enough space to cater for so many people. Our photobooth was also set up by the porch so that the kids could pop in for some photos while they were playing, it was also q nice memento for the family to get photos of friends and family before they left.

The special part of this party was that the family also hired an ice cream van as the dessert element of the night. Instead of building a cupcake stand, or setting up a lolly bar which would eventually get messy the ice cream van pulled into the driveway and everyone lined up for an ice cream. It was a great idea, ice creams are delicious but they are also easy to eat while standing and mingling and playing.

It is not the first time Melbourne Dj hire have seen an ice cream van at an event. We have seen them set up at kids parties where the van pulled in playing the iconic theme song. Any events held in summer are crying out for an ice cream van.We have also seen ice cream vans set up at weddings. One time our photographer saw an ice cream van set up outside a church and as soon as the ceremony finished the guests got to line up for a refreshing treat.
