Raining – Dj Hire

Melbourne Dj hire and our photobooth company Beauty and the Booth worked at the house party over the weekend. The job was for a 15th birthday and being a party in November the parents thought that it was a fantastic idea to throw the party in the backyard and set the Melbourne Dj and the photobooth outside on the deck.

 

The parents had set up a dance floor on their lawn and hang light up lanterns over the dance floor. When our Melbourne Dj and photobooth attendant arrived at the location the weather was fine. Then they checked the weather forecast and it predicted that at 6.30pm when the party was going to start there was an 80% chance of rain. Our clients had not though of a back up plan in case it was raining. So our Melbourne Dj and photobooth attendant still set up under the undercover deck area.

 

Our equipment was all protected but the dancefloor was all wet. After it stopped raining the parents quickly mopped and wiped the dance floor so that it was dry. Over the course of the evening it was still raining. Not as bad as the start but very light drizzles. It was lucky that it was a teenage party and the girls still soldiered on dancing in the light rain and because the parents had booked the photobooth as well every time it was raining some girls went to take photos.

 

So if you are planning an outdoor party in Melbourne, always have a backup plan. Even though it is weeks away from summer our city can surprise us and start raining. Clear out your deck or pergola and you can even store some large items in the shed or the side of the house. Rearrange your furniture inside your house so there is room for dancing.
