Winter Events – Dj Hire

Events have to be held all year round, but unfortunately Melbourne doesn’t have great weather all year round. Winter events can be the trickiest events to organise because you have to take the weather into consideration, you will definitely need an indoor area for your guests to escape the cold and also make sure that the event has adequate heating to warm up the space. Melbourne Dj Hire have actually worked at a lot of events held outdoors during the cold winter. This blog we are going to share the ideas that our clients have used to make their outdoor winter event more comfortable for their guests. 

One of our Melbourne DJs recently worked at a house party that was held outdoors. Our Melbourne Dj was set up in an enclosed shed area that didn’t have any heating but it didn’t get very cold because a lot of people were in the shed dancing. In the back yard and eating and sitting areas there were gas heaters hired to keep guests warm. Setting up heaters in a marquee area creates a warmer area so a lot of people stayed in the marquee to stay warm and to also get out of the wind. 

But our favourite way to keep warm at an outdoor party is the good old bomb fire. Our Melbourne djs have worked at a lot of winter events where a bomb fire has been set up. One event we worked at was on a country property and the guest had created a really big bomb fire and a lot of people surround the warmth drinking and chatting. If you happen to live in the suburbs and you don’t have a lot of space in your yard you would always buy a fire pit. They give out a lot of warmth and there is always something alluring about an open fire. 

But if all of those options are not possible at your party. The safest way to hold comfortable winter events is to book a cosy and comfortable venue indoors with efficient heating!
