Baptism Event

Melbourne DJ Hire and our roaming photographer recently worked together at a baptism event. Believe it or not, we actually get booked for a lot of baptism events. It is a very important day in the family’s life and a lot of families make a big effort to put on a great day. 
The day usually starts with the photographer arriving early to the church to take photos of the ceremony and just to name some family photos of the baby and their family and also the god parents. The photographer is also there to take photos of all the important parts of the ceremony like the water baptism, the prayers and candle lighting. The baptism event we worked at over the weekend was at a historic Christian church called The Star of the Sea. The interior architecture of the church was stunning with stained glass windows and gold details throughout the space and the family was able to get some amazing photos of the ceremony. 
After the ceremony, the guests headed to the reception venue where our Melbourne DJ had arrived early to set up. The guests were then able to take more photos with the baby and also got to enjoy refreshments and food while the DJ was playing some background music. 
You might think that hiring a Melbourne Dj for a baptism event isn’t necessary but a lot of families organise a Dj to give the event a lively atmosphere. For some ethnic families who like to dance at their gatherings to traditional ethnic songs, it is also a great idea to have the DJ there to play all of these tracks through some good quality speakers.
