Photography Options

For the last couple of years, Melbourne DJ Hire have offered clients a new photography service. This photography service is very similar to our standard photography service where our skilled photographers will roam the event and capture all the fun on the night. The clients would pay upfront for the service and receive a link to all the digital photos, but the new service we have introduced has no upfront cost to the organiser.

Yes that is right. The party photographer will arrive at the event at no cost to the client. After the event, we will sell the guests a digital link to the the photo albums. Our photographer will roam the function and ask guests to pose for photos with their family and friends, then when the event is over, Melbourne Dj Hire will send the organiser a full link to a gallery of all the photos. Guests will then have the option of purchasing the high resolution version of the photo.

This new photography option has been a great addition to our list of services as some events like a fundraiser or school event won’t have the budget to add our upfront photography package into their event but would still like to have a professional photographer present. However, if guest were to individually pay for their photo then there is no added costs to the event organisers. For example a number of schools booked this photography service for their end of year graduation and valedictory nights, our roaming photographer captured family photos, awards, performers and presentations and ended up selling a number of photos to the students and parents.These 2 different photography options have been a great hit with a number of clients. Some clients, don’t even think about hiring a professional photographer and plan to capture photos on their phones. However once they see the quality of our photos they are very eager to purchase these photos to share with their loved ones.
