Outdoor Winter Events

Melbourne Dj Hire work at a lot of outdoor events throughout the year and we especially work at a lot of outdoor events in the warmer months. However for the last few years, we have worked at a lot of outdoor events in winter, whether it be birthdays and engagements at a house or at a venue with a large garden space. Because of the open space and ventilation in an outdoor area, party planners are now setting up their events in the big open space to keep their guests safe. 

You might think that outdoor events in winter are cold but there are many things you can do to keep your guests warm and comfortable. At lot of clients hire marquees in case of a rainy day and most clients will hire portable heaters to place around the party space and people usually congregate around those heaters when they are having drinks and a chat. Some clients have even organised couches and comfortable seating for guests to lounge on near the fire or heating. 

Melbourne Dj Hire have also worked at a number of events where they have set up a bomb fire. House with a large backyard can set up a fire pit in the middle with lots of seating set up in a circle. There are also a number of outdoor venues that set up a fire place or fire pit to keep their guests warm for outdoor events in winter. 

If our Melbourne Djs are booked to work at an outdoor event in winter we would definitely require some sort of shelter to keep our equipment safe from the possibility of rain, it would also be a idea to have some sort of shelter organised for guest as a back up for wet weather conditions. Our Melbourne Djs find that that the dance floors get rather busy on cold nights, guests want to stay warm by dancing and getting close together.
