Avalon Castle – Melbourne Djs

Over the weekend Melbourne Dj Hire sent a team of a Dj, photographer and photobooth to a wedding called Avalon Castle which was located in Cockatoo. It is a charming wedding venue located past Emerald. The venue itself has a stunning first impression with a beautifully maintained garden, a three tiered fountain and pond, a backdrop of the grand castle and much much more of fantastic greenery and architecture. 

The reception space itself is small and intimate, with enough to cater to 50-80 with a sit down dinner or 100-120 for a cocktail event. The wedding that Melbourne Dj Hire was working at was for a group of 120 guests, there was a balcony at the reception space that overlooked the gardens and looked out to the sunset, there was also a seating area towards the back of the venue where guests could go out for a smoke or even some air. 

Avalon castle also has a large bridal suite for the bridal party to get ready in. There are also a couple of other rooms where family or friends could stay for the night or to get ready in before the wedding. Our photographer met the groomsmen at the bridal suite to get some photos of the bridal party before the ceremony started. The bridesmaids also had sometime to relax inside the room after the ceremony and photos were taken. 

Avalon Castle also has a charming little chapel where guests can hold a ceremony. They also have a multi leveled deck as well which is perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Inside the reception there is also a beautiful backdrop of tulle and roses with twinkling fairy lights. It was a perfect backdrop for the first dance and speeches. 

Melbourne Dj Hire would recommend holding your wedding at Avalon castle if you are having a smaller scale wedding. Avalon castle has everything you could want and need for a wedding venue. It’s picturesque scenery, the architecture, the space and facilities makes it perfect for holding a wedding.
