Josephine’s Restaurant – Dj Hire

Melbourne Dj Hire’s photobooth company Beauty and the Booth worked at the charming Josephine’s Restaurant for a small wedding over the weekend. Josephine’s Restaurant is a little rustic restaurant located on the hilltop of The Brairs property that is on a park like property with also a little vineyard. The restaurant has huge windows that with a beautiful view overlooking the Mount Martha hills. 

When you walk inside the venue you are greeted with foyer and rustic bar that is decorated with renaissance artwork and rustic furniture and tables made with large wine barrels. The foyer is where our photobooth was set up and it was a great way to get guests up from their seats and move around the venue and also interact with other guests. The foyer is also the place where the grazing table was set up in the middle of the foyer where the waitress put together an impressive table full of cured meats, cheese, crackers, antipasto and also some finger food like prawn twists, arancini balls and more. It was like a combination of the two different styles of grazing and finger food where people got to help themselves on the different refreshments. 

There was also a very different type of Melbourne Dj playing at Josephine’s Restaurant. He was hired as a Dj, MC and also a singer. It was John Carlo Bellotti who used to be an opera singer. The talented performer was confident and natural while making announcements and also belted out some popular dance tracks when it came to the dance break of the night. The music veteran knew exactly which songs to play and kept a busy dance floor for the whole night. 

Josephine’s Restaurant is not only a perfect place to hold an intimate rustic style wedding but they are also open for lunch and dinner service. The restaurant inside has a 180 degree view of the green hills and there is also an outdoor area with ample tables and seating and also lit up by fairy lights perfect for spring summer nights. 

So if you are in the Mount Martha area it is definitely worth popping into Josephine’s Restaurant.
