Wedding@ Leonda By The Yarra

Melbourne Dj hire were finally able to go ahead with a wedding that has been postponed 4 times at Leonda. Our clients had originally planned to have their wedding in April of 2020 then postponed to September later that year. Then when our lockdown continued they rescheduled their big day to mid 2021 and of course had to postpone again. When December finally came they were technically able to hold their wedding but because a lot of their guests were from interstate they were unable to go ahead with their wedding. 

2 years after their initial wedding date, they were finally able to hold their gorgeous wedding reception at Leonda. The room was decorated with a mix of rich red and dusty pink floral arrangements, there were lots of gold frames and gold details in the centrepieces and it was just a well planned and styled wedding. The stylist also set up 2 gold frames and floral arrangements to be used at the photobooth. 

The Melbourne Dj played all the popular song requests and the dance floor was really busy for the whole night. Because the couple have had such a hard time planning this wedding they really wanted to get through all the formalities early and save a majority of the night for the dancing. Our Melbourne Dj played a mix of tracks from the 80s for the parents and older relatives and we also played a lot of newer songs for the younger crowd attending the wedding. 

This wedding at Leonda was more of the livelier weddings Melbourne Dj Hire have worked at. It could be because the couple have been though so much stress trying to organise their wedding. Or it could also be because a lot of the guests were from interstate and this wedding was the first time they had all seen each other in a long time. It is really amazing witnessing all the friendships and the joy everyone has seeing all the friends and family now that events and travel has opened up.
