Melinda and Gary’s wedding was one of those special events that truly leaves a lasting impression. From the moment our team at Melbourne DJ Hire arrived, we could feel the warmth, love, and genuine connection shared by everyone in the room. It was a day filled with wholesome vibes, cultural pride, and high energy celebrations and we’re so grateful to have been part of it.

One of the standout moments was the jaw-dropping dragon and lion dance performance, led by the bride and groom themselves! As active members of a dragon and lion dancing team, Melinda and Gary put on a cultural show that wowed the crowd and our DJ and photobooth attendant too! It was a beautiful way to share their heritage with their guests and added a unique, unforgettable touch to their wedding day.

Another highlight was the incredible songlist Melinda provided in the lead-up to the event. It was packed with tracks that held deep meaning to their club and community, songs that we wouldn’t usually include in a typical wedding set, but which brought such a personal and powerful energy to the room. At Melbourne DJ Hire, we always encourage our couples to create a songlist, because music is such a personal part of any celebration. When clients share the music that matters most to them, it allows us to tailor the experience and truly connect with the crowd.

As the night went on, the dancefloor got hotter and hotter literally! The energy was so electric that some guests even took their shirts off to keep dancing. Our DJ was kept busy dropping club bangers that had the entire room moving right until the final song. At the same time, our photobooth was buzzing all night long, with happy guests jumping in and out, capturing fun memories with every click.
