Waterfront Melbourne

Melbourne DJ Hire worked at a lovely wedding at the Waterfront venue in Port Melbourne. The couple booked our Melbourne wedding Dj, wedding photographer and our open photobooth for their big day. The Waterfront Port Melbourne, has a number of different function rooms on their premises. A smaller private dining room on the ground floor is the perfect place for a smaller scale party of 20 people seated and maybe 40 people cocktail style. The rest of the ground floor venue is a restaurant with indoor dining as well as a lot of outdoor dining out overlooking the waterfront. 
The wedding was located on the second floor and it is a grand space enough to fit 80 guest seated. The couple had organised for the ceremony to be held at the reception room. At the end of the function space was a huge dancefloor and the couple used that space to hold their ceremony, they decorated the ceremony space with a large floral display which was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony photos. The venue also arrange the seats and a white carpet for the bride to walk down. After the ceremony was finished the guests would gather around the bar for some drinks and canapes and the staff would move all the seating to the tables to get ready for the reception. 
Once the ceremony space was cleared, our Melbourne DJ was able to start playing songs to get the dancefloor started. We also had to correspond with the Macedonian trumpet player and dancers that also performed on the night. 
The Waterfront at Port Melbourne is very rich in location as well. It is right next to the pier so there are plenty of photos that can be taken by the water, there is also some high rise buildings with stunning ambient lighting shining onto the water. You can also conveniently see the sunset from the function room and also the pier.
