18th Bday Party
18th birthday at L’Ucino
We were fortunate enough to get booked for a photo booth for an 18th birthday at a local Clayton Bristro L’Ucino. Melbourne DJ hire and Beauty and the Booth are based locally in the South Eastern suburbs so we were really looking forward to working with a local venue around the corner, plus it only took at 12 minutes to drive there! Usually we have to travel more than 45 minutes to jobs so this was a lovely bonus.
We were booked by the head chef Andrew and it turns out Andrew is the future brother in law of the birthday girl. When we were talking to her she had no idea that there would be a photobooth at her party it was all a surprise! This party was fully decked out in the party theme. What a lucky girl to have such thoughtful and generous family.
The theme of the party was black and pink and the birthday girls family had set up a lovely pink and black themed pin board to pin the photo strips on, themed coloured helium balloons and table cloths and even a metallic pink fringy door way hanging. Little thoughtful details like that gave the birth party a great atmosphere.
If you are a local around Clayton this is a great place to have a function, there is a separate dance floor room which has glass windows from floor to ceiling, the dance floor room has plenty of room for a Melbourne DJ to set up. T he space next to the dance floor has the perfect space for mingling, there is enough room for a handful of tables and plenty of space to stand and chat, we even set up our larger open booth in the corner. There is even enough room for a gift table or candy bar! But most importantly the food here is delicious, they had chicken wings that tasted like Chinese style quail, yummy chicken and vegetable dim sims and so much more. There is plenty of variety on their menu so everyone will be happy.
L’Ucino also has a TAB and pokies section so if you are having a party where there are all ages groups, while the young bunch are dancing to the Melbourne DJ tracks the older bunch, like aunties and grand parents can chill out in the pokies lounge. The venue is also at a very close walking distance to the train station so very accessible via public transport. The staff are all lovely and friendly you are bound to have a great event here.
We had a great time at L’ucino and Beauty and the Booth and Melbourne DJ Hire would be happy to return to work with them any day.
