Melbourne DJ Hire worked at Brookwood Receptions over the weekend for a formal style 18th Birthday. Brookwood Receptions is a stunning formal function venue that has 2 different function rooms, one large and luxurious ballroom space that is big enough to fit 350 people and one smaller function room called the Novaroom upstairs perfect for a smaller type of function.
Our Melbourne DJs have worked at Brookwood Receptions many times for large scale weddings. The formal room is decorated with lush curtain drapes and chandeliers and a huge dancefloor in the centre of the room. There is also plenty of space for other contractors like photobooths, candy and dessert bars and more. We have worked at a Lebanese wedding in the ballroom where there were fireworks and cultural Lebanese drummers performing around the dancefloor.
Over the weekend we sent our Melbourne Dj and our roaming photographer to work at an 18th Birthday in the smaller function room upstairs. It was the perfect space to hold the event as the family still wanted a formal type of set up but had a small guestlist of family and friends. The smaller style function room still had a beautiful decor with chandeliers, draped curtain backdrops and ambient lighting and it was also attached to the bar and kitchen which served a sensational menu.
On one end of the function room was the dancefloor and plain backdrop which is perfect for any flower walls or balloon displays, it also had ample space for our Melbourne DJ to set up. Our photographer took a number of group shots and family portraits in that space as well. The dining section of the room was long enough fit 70 people and there are many styles of banquets and meals to choose from as well.
