Melbourne Dj hire have worked at a lot of postponed birthday parties the last couple of years. 50th birthdays turned into 51st and just this year we have actually worked at a handful of 52nd’s, 42’nds and well… you get the picture. One of our clients was going to hold their 51st last year but unfortunately Melbourne went into lockdown. So 2022 was the year they could finally hold their postponed birthday party.
This postponed birthday was a party to remember. Everything was so detailed and there were so many layers to the party. There was an olden day wagon cart that was converted to a bar, bar staff were able to mix drinks in front of guests and there was also a menu of the drinks on offer of the night. The bar staff were also there to set up the grazing table and also their to clear away the empty glasses and tidy up whenever it was needed. But not only did the birthday girl hire an impressive bar set up, she also hired 3 paellas to feed her guests. The grand pans of paella really wowed the guests and was more than enough to feed her 80 guests.
The house was also transformed into a brilliant party space with a balloon garland backdrop, a marquee on the patio for the dancefloor. Our Melbourne DJ was set up in the marquee where there was plenty of space for the guests to have a dance. Since this postponed birthday was 2 years in the making, there was a lot going on and a lot of details and thought that went into the party and since the birthday girl had spent over 2 years planning this party, the birthday girl decided that she wanted a roaming photographer to capture all the little details of the event. It was also a great opportunity to take some family photos of parents, grandparents and all the relatives which may not get to get as regularly. These party photos are what we all like to look back on and Melbourne DJ Hire had a great time capturing these moments again.
