Stolberg Hotel
Melbourne DJ Hire worked at an 18th Birthday party at the Stolberg Hotel over the weekend. The Stolberg Hotel is location in Preston and is very close to trams and trains so very accessible for guests. The clients had booked our Melbourne Dj, open photobooth and roaming photographer for the event and the space was perfect for a fun party. The Stolberg Hotel has 2 function spaces, a long room upstairs and a wide-open function room downstairs which our team worked at.
The function room downstairs had a wide open set up with a huge dancefloor, it also had a sound booth built into the room which was the perfect space for our Melbourne DJ to set up in. Another fantastic aspect of this room was that there was a separate space away from the speakers and dancefloor where our photobooth could be set up and there were lounges and tables where the grandparents and older relatives could sit down and be away from the loud music.
Not only was this open space large enough for a dancefloor but the space was also big enough for the family to organise a balloon backdrop display. This display was a great idea as the client had a big family and our professional photographer took these precious shots with his grandparents, aunt and uncles, cousins and friends.
The other function room upstairs was a great space with an elongated set up. The dancefloor was towards the back of the room and there were tall tables and lounges towards the other end of the room for guests to have a seat and relax in. The room also has a couple of separate nooks which are set up with luxurious lounges which is again perfect for a photo backdrop or even a lovely space for guests to have a seat and chat.
