Transforming Your Space For An Event

Melbourne DJ Hire worked at a school formal over the weekend where the school completely transformed their school auditorium into a dance party. All the seating and tables were packed away and the lights were turned off and our Melbourne Dj set up their gear on the centre of the stage. The school also decorated their theatre space with a lot of floating balloons, games and a photobooth. That way, students who didnt want to dance could socialise with their friends by the photobooth or sit down to play games like Jenga or Connect 4 with their friends. 

Our team have worked at many parties where the organisers have transformed their spaces to hold and event. Most schools will have a hall on site and that space is usually cleared out and decorated for the formal or disco. Some work spaces also have a meeting room or outdoor space they can hold their party. A lot of clients hold their parties on site because it is a huge cost saver, they do not need to pay for a venue fee or a bar tab and food trucks are such a popular and readily available option. 

Transforming your space for an event is definitely a cost saver but, in some situations, like a school disco or a work event, it is also nice to show your family, the school or work space where you spend so much time in. Using an unconventional space to hold a party also forces the organisers to get more creative. At the school formal event, the teachers set up a little nook for interactive games, at a family day at a workplace the organiser set up a colouring station for the kids and also a soft play area in the courtyard for the kids to play in.
