Third Lockdown

As we are sure everyone is aware, Melbourne is in it’s third lockdown. After a summer of lifted restrictions and a taste of normal life with events and parties, a few cases of the new covid highly contagious strain has been detected in some hotel quarantine workers. So as a precaution the premier has decided to lockdown the state again. 

Melbourne Dj Hire were actually hired to play the music at a formal after party on the night the lockdown was supposed to happy. So the formal went ahead on Friday but the after party which was scheduled to be that evening from 12am to 3am will be rescheduled to another day. The great thing is that the students will be able to have another party to attend on another day. 

There have been bride and grooms who have had to reschedule their wedding yet again. One of Melbourne Dj Hire’s clients even decided to cancel their wedding all together as they have already postponed their first wedding date in November. The disappointing thing about this third lockdown is that some of their suppliers had already started making their orders. Products like cakes, bouquets, centrepieces, invites had to be ordered and made a day prior to the event so the couples were not able to recoup any of the money for those goods. Melbourne Dj Hire know how hard it must be for couples who had to endure a canceled wedding due to the third lockdown, and we know the anxiety couples must feel if their weddings are due this weekend or next weekend. The decision to postpone or cancel is a big one and Melbourne Dj Hire will do our best to try to accomodate our schedule to make it as easy and stress free as possible for our bride and grooms who have already been through so much in the last couple of years.
