Melbourne has had a pretty relaxed few months of restrictions and we have all been able to enjoy our parties and gatherings with a great degree of normalcy. But since there have been 2 cases from quarantine workers there have been new restrictions in place for indoor gatherings. Everyone is required to wear a facemask at any indoor faculty unless they are eating or drinking. Melbourne Dj Hire have had a couple of our jobs postpone their events. One job was a public event at a retail store, another job was a wedding that decided to postpone their wedding date once again.
Even though these new restrictions are quite minor, a lot of event organisers wish not to go ahead with their events as it may be hard to communicate with other guests with a mask on especially if there is music being played by the Melbourne Dj. People will also be required to wear masks while taking photos. So some brides or party organisers who have hired photographers and photobooths may not see the point in holding an event if they cannot take photos properly.
These new restrictions are also making event planners worried in case there is another outbreak and the city will be under lockdown or have limitations on guests numbers. Couples who are planning weddings might not go ahead with booking their venues and suppliers because their is a chance restrictions could come back in and ruin their plans. Some clients who were set on having their events at their homes have hit another set back when it comes to their party. Gatherings at home are still capped at 15 people and it isn’t much of a party with only 15 people involved. Melbourne Dj Hire are hoping that the hotel quarantine issues are resolved so that Melbourne can go back to functions with some sort of normalcy.
