Melbourne Dj Hire are pleased to announce that we have our very first booking coming up next week since the country went into lockdown 3 months ago. Since the 25th of March, all functions and events have been banned. As a result of the country going into lockdown some of our clients were cancelling their events and a lot were postponing their events to the end of the year. A couple of weeks ago when the government announced the lifting of some restrictions a lot of clients started booking and planning their functions again, people were desperate to have some fun again and get into the party spirit.
Our first booking is for a 30th birthday party for a small 25-person guestlist, our clients have booked a Melbourne DJ and a photobooth to celebrate the occasion. It has been a difficult couple of months and the clients are ready to let loose and celebrate their night with their friends. Melbourne DJ Hire aren’t usually booked for events of less than 30 people so it will be interesting to see how the night will pan out on this interesting night.
Because of the social distancing regulations, the venue needs to be a certain size to accommodate for the 1.5 square meter per person rule, so the usual cosy venue with tightly packed guests will not be possible. The dance floor will have to be very spacious, the tables will have to be spread out very wide and our Melbourne DJ and our photobooth attendant will have to set up in a particular way so that we abide by the social distancing rules to keep guests and our staff safe.
Either way our Melbourne Djs are ready to get back to work and are looking forward to our first booking. Once the next round of restrictions are lifted and functions can allow for 50 or more guest, work will really start to pick up for us.
