Keeping Safe
With our first booking coming up in a few weeks, Melbourne Dj Hire have put some rules and procedures in place so that we keep our staff and party guests safe. Our Melbourne Djs, usually set up at the back of the dance floor and they are always stationed behind their speakers and decks so naturally, we have been practicing social distancing long before the Corona Virus pandemic. But when guests come up to request songs, that is the only time when our staff come in very close contact with people. If you have visited Bunnings recently, you will notice that they have set up trestle tables in front of their service counters to social distance customers from their staff. Our Djs will have to set up a table to keep guests at a distance and guests will have a note pad to write their song requests on or they can show us the name of their requests on their phone.
Keeping safe when we get back to work is extremely important. Melbourne Dj Hire will be working at large scale gatherings every week and it is important that our staff stay safe so that we can keep working week after week. It will take a lot of adjusting to the new rules, for years people have been used to huddling close together on the dancefloor and also yelling song requests into our DJs ears due to the loud music. Since the new Covid 19 restrictions requires guests to be 1.5 meters away from each other our staff will have to think of new ways to keep ourselves and party guests safe.
Our Melbourne DJs will also be encouraged to sanitise the communal equipment such as the microphones after each event to keep our equipment clean for future events. We will also regularly wipe down our equipment and sanitise our hands regularly to help keep everything as clean as possible. Keeping safe is extremely important to Melbourne DJ Hire and we do not want to be putting our clients at risk so please rest assured that we are doing our part to tackle this pandemic.
