Long weekend

Melbourne DJ Hire is usually quite busy on a long weekend like the Queen’s Birthday. Clients love to book events on long weekends because there is an extra day to celebrate. You can hold your event on a Friday because some guests may take the Friday off to have a four day weekend, or you could hold your event on a Sunday as people will have the day off on Monday. Due to the Coronavirus Melbourne DJ Hire are not sending out Melbourne Djs to any jobs, but we have had multiple bookings for the long weekends coming up next year. Labour Day weekend, Melbourne Cup weekend and Australia Day weekend are slowly getting booked out. 
Previously when Easter long weekends would come around, a lot of people would take leave and take a short trip for a break with their family, so there were a few weekends that were quiet in terms of bookings. School holidays were another period where the bookings would slow down too because families would get away for the week. Melbourne Dj Hire would work at the occasional wedding or kid’s party but the bookings will not be as busy as a normal week. 
Public events like community festivals and shows are usually held on school holidays and long weekends as well as an attraction or activity for families. Melbourne DJ Hire have played at many public events and family days, up beat pop music is played to create a lively atmosphere and a photobooth is usually hired so families can take a photo to have some fun and  remember the day. 
We hope that everyone out there is enjoying this long weekend and staying safe, it may be different to all the long weekends we were used to but we can still go for a walk at the park or jump on our bikes. Let’s hope our next long weekend will be packed with more events and functions and we can get back to partying.
