We may still be in 2020 and what a crazy year it has been. The Coronavirus pandemic has put the year into a spin, Melbourne Dj hire and our photobooth company Beauty and the Booth have stopped working at functions since late March. Since the ban on non-essential gatherings came to place in late March, the enquiries have really slowed down. Melbourne DJ Hire then started to maintain and improve our website and our equipment and skills, but we were still struggling to keep ourselves busy. Recently the Victorian government released some information in relation to the lifting of restrictions and have given the public a rough timeline and dates of when we can expect to go out to restaurants and throw small scale gatherings. 
Since the announcement of these three stages, Melbourne DJ Hire have been very busy taking bookings. Weddings that were postponed have now have a date locked in, people are now starting to book in their Christmas parties to lock in a contractor and brides are now even booking for the year 2022. We predict that 2021 will be an extremely busy year, people have been cooped up at home all this time and would like any excuse to get out and celebrate with their loved ones. People who missed out on holding their events in 2020 will book in 2021, people who initially wanted to celebrate their 30th, 40th and 50th will now celebrate their 31st, 41st and 51st to make up for their lost function. 
So if you are starting to planning your event, it is best to get in touch with a supplier soon. Melbourne DJ Hire’s books are slowly filling up and we have got a fair amount of wedding bookings for 2022. Bride’s are now getting organised and because a lot of dates for wedding venues have been taken in 2021 the new brides will now have to take the dates in 2022.
