Cocktail Events – Melbourne Djs
Melbourne Dj hire and our photobooth company Beauty and the Booth are always heading out to service cocktail events. Corporate clients organise these cocktail nights and drinks night to let their staff and clients bond and have a great night, couples decide on holding cocktail events for their engagement party’s or wedding and birthday parties are usually a cocktail style as well. The reason why cocktail events are so popular is because everyone is not restricted to sitting at their own tables and forced to mingle with their table. Guests can walk around the room to grab some drinks, they can stop at when they see someone they know and have a chat. It means everyone gets the opportunity to spend time with a lot of different people.
Some of Melbourne Dj Hire’s corporate clients organise Friday Nights Drinks every month in their workplace for staff to wind down after a long stressful week. They also take advantage of the fact that all their staff is present in the one place at the same time and announce any good news or changes to the workplace.
One time our Melbourne Dj and photobooth was hired because our client was celebrating equality for the LGBTQI community and our Melbourne Dj was asked to play classic camp tracks like Kylie Minogue, George Michael, Elton John and a lot more. Our photobooth had rainbow theme to match the theme of the event as well. This was another cocktail event that was a huge success because it had been a very busy couple of weeks for the company and they had finished a particular project and staff really got to relax and enjoy the night with their team.
Cocktail events are also becoming more popular for weddings. Our Melbourne Djs find that more people dance when it is a cocktail style party because they are already standing or walking around the venue. Sometimes when you have people already comfortable in their seats at their table. It might take a lot of convincing for them to get up from their seats and dance, but it is always a lot easier to start the dancefloor if their are people standing around the room.
