Upstage Gala – Dj Hire

Melbourne Dj Hire was hired to play at the Upstage Gala dinner on the weekend. Our Melbourne photographer and photobooth was also hired to capture photos on the night. The Upstage Gala dinner is the end of year presentation awards for a dance school based in the Frankston area. Students from the dance school, their parents and also the teachers and coaches got to come together on the night and celebrate.

Our Melbourne Dj Syd played popular commercial tracks that the dance students loved. Tracks like Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Beyoncé and much more. Since the room was filled with dancers the dancefloor was always full, the younger students came to the event in extravagant tutus and gowns and were showing off their dance moves any chance they could.

Part of the night was also dedicated to awards. Each student was presented with a certificate and Melbourne Dj hire’s photographer was there to capture the award presentations. Then there were special awards for the most improved students, the best attitude, and best dance moves awards and more. Those students were presented with a little trophy and all the coaches and teachers were also awarded with a medal. At the end of the presentations all the teachers posed on the stage together for a group photo and then all the assistants and coaches also joined in for a large group photo.

Towards the end of the night a lot of the parents of the dancers also came in on the dance floor. It was a joy to see so many parents getting involved in the dance floor and having a dance with their children. Some of the parents must have been ex-dancers because they had some very impressive moves. Two dads were breaking it down on the floor with Michael Jackson moves, one mum did the splits on the dancefloor, one did a shuffle. There were also a number of the dance teachers that really pulled out some moves on the dancefloor.

It was a great night that was full of joy and fun, Melbourne Dj Hire cannot wait for next years Upstage Gala.
