Crown Promenade

Melbourne DJ Hire was hired for a corporate event at the Crown Promenade and our Melbourne Dj and 2 of our roaming photographers were hired to take photos of the guests and also to capture the event. The event was for a gala dinner at the end of a long conference week for the attendees. Due to covid, this event hasn’t run for 5 years and a guests were eager to grab a photo together, get some drinks in and get on the dancefloor for some drinks. 

The night started off with some drinks and cocktails in the foyer area, then the guests proceeded into the ballroom where they were seated for their entrees. Then there was a welcome speech and some jokes told by their colleague who was also the MC, then some awards were given out to the outstand employees and staff who had worked within the company for a long period of time. Then there was a PowerPoint video of all the activities and photos of everything that happened at the conference. 

Towards the end of the night, the organisers had invited a comedian to come into the event and do a comedy show to entertain the crowd. This was a great way to liven the mood after a week of meetings and seminars and after the comedian finished his act the crowd got right up to have a dance. 

Our Melbourne DJ, played the usual show tunes, like the Bruno Mars, ABBA. Neil Diamond, Michael Jackson and so much more. The dancefloor was busy for the whole night and our Melbourne DJ even took a special request to play an Irish Highland Jig song as a few of the guests were Irish. The dancefloor was busy all night even up until our Melbourne party DJ played the last song and the lights came back on
