Melbourne DJ Hire sent a photobooth and a roaming photographer to a daytime corporate conference last Tuesday. This event was for Telstra at their head office in the city and the event organisers went to a lot of effort to entertain the staff during each of the breaks. This daytime corporate conference was an event for the staff to connect with their team and also to have a little fun while they were at the office. Due to Covid a lot of the staff are usually working from home so some new comers haven’t met their team members or some of them haven’t seen each other face to face for a while.
There were a couple of coffee breaks during the event and during that time, the organisers had arranged a coffee cart, refreshments and a photobooth for staff to use during the breaks. Then at the end of the conference, the organisers had hired Kath and Kim impersonators to run a trivia show for their staff. It was a fun way to end the event and have a laugh with each other.
During the lunch break, the organisers had invited a magician to come in to do some magic tricks for the staff, the magician had pick a large table to set up his station and gathered groups of staff to come over for card tricks and other fancy illusions. It was also a great activity for our photographer to capture. Not only did our roaming photographer capture candid photos of the magic show, but we also approached guests and see if they would like photos together. Our photographer was also asked to take photos of some teams.
Melbourne DJ Hire had also set up an open photobooth for the event as well and that was extremely popular for staff as they got to take team photos. Since the remote working has been introduced, staff rarely all come together at the same place at the same time so that was a great opportunity to take some fun photos in the photobooth and have a print out of their photo.
