Melbourne Dj Hire work with a number of different live performers during our events. It is very common for clients to add a live performer to give an extra wow element to the event. For example a roving saxophonist or violinist will add another form of excitement to the crowd. Or a simple band duo could add a relaxed vibe to your wedding or event before the formalities begin.
Another common event where the organisers have added live performers and instruments are school formals and school events. The schools will usually invite their talented students on stage to play a song as a form of entertainment and of course to showcase the talent at their school. Sometimes it could be a solo act or at times it could be a duo, a lot of formals we work at invite their stage performers on stage to reenact a song that was performed at the school play.
Another popular option are cultural performers. For example our Melbourne DJ worked with a trumpet player who was Macedonian and he patched his trumpet into the Djs speakers so that he could play the trumpet with the Macedonian music. There was also a Greek bouzouki player who played at a Greek birthday party and his presence added a very lively atmosphere to the party and the cultural dancing.
Our Melbourne Djs are happy to work with any live performers and would prefer to communicate with them before the event. There are some details to organise like cables and connections and different mics that need to be used so it is best that those elements are sorted out prior to the performance so the event runs smoothly and there are no hiccups during the performance. Our Melbourne Djs also regularly play the music tracks that the musicians give us, they can usually bring a USB with their music and our team and play it in the order they request.
