You would think that every weekend is a busy one for Melbourne Djs, even though we have been around for a very long time and our Melbourne Djs usually work every weekend, there are some weekends which are quiet. The weekend leading up to Christmas is usually quiet, as people are usually preparing for their holiday or their Christmas day celebration and of course busy getting their Christmas shopping prepared. The weekend after Christmas is also very quiet, people usually spend this time again away on holidays, spending time with friends and family who have come from out of town or they might just be taking this time to recover from all the festivities.

Melbourne Djs pick up the work on new years eve and that is one night that is usually hectic, then the start of January is pretty relaxed and quiet. Then the wedding season picks up again and until Easter we are busy. Because Easter is a 4 day long weekend, that period of time people use that break to go on a holiday, therefore the Easter long weekend is generally quiet in the entertainment industry.

Then when it comes to Labour Day in March, because it is a 3 day weekend and people would have had a break for Australia Day and they know the Easter break is coming up, a lot of couples choose this weekend to get married. Occasionally our Melbourne Djs are booked for the Friday, Saturday and Melbourne Dj hire is usually booked on the Sunday as well.
