Sports Presentations

Melbourne Dj Hire was booked for a sports presentation over the weekend for a local netball club, the clients had booked our Melbourne DJ for the music and our roaming photographer to capture the night. Melbourne DJ Hire work at sports presentations very often, we provide the sound and music for the awards presentations then once the formalities are over, we play music to get the dancefloor going, the night is usually full of song requests from all the guests. 

Our roaming photographer is booked to obviously take photos of the awards and guests throughout the night, we also take a lot of team photos for each different team within the sports club. If you are apart of a sports club, it is a great idea to purchase a large backdrop banner with a repeat of the club logo, this is a great space for the players to pose for individual photos and team photos. It also gives guests a designated space to go to to get their photos taken. 

Our clients also invited a famous sports player to come along to the event and give a speech about her journey, she told the stories about her injuries and recovery and how she worked hard to get back onto to playing the sport again. The sports play also handed out the awards and posed for photos with the guests. 

After the awards and presentations were over, the dancefloor was open. There was a mix age groups ranging from 11 year old’s to older players who were 18-21. Our Melbourne DJ played a range of songs that appealed to all ages like Shake it off by Taylor Swift, ABBA, Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus and Let it Go from Frozen. It was a great night full of dancing and priceless photos and all the girls enjoyed having a dance with all their teammates and parents.
