Melbourne Dj Hire worked at a wine bar the other night where the client had hired the entire venue out for their party. The wine bar was usually open to the public for a sit down dinner and drinks, but on the night they had cleared the tables for a big danceflooor and closed trading to the public. Some of the tables along the walkway was used as seating for the older guests or people who wanted to have a seat and chat.

Hiring a restaurant, bar and cafe for you party is a great idea as they usually have a smaller space which is perfect for an intimate style event. Our client was a regular customer at this local bar and enquired about holding an event in the space and actually found out that the owners do hire the venue out for events. The party at the wine bar was the perfect space for the 40th birthday we worked at, the Melbourne Dj had a larger wider space was perfect for the dancefloor and there was also room for a gifts tables and grazing table.

Hiring a wine bar for your event is also an exciting place for wine lovers. There were so many types of wine on offer and guests were really keen to try all that was on offer. Since this venue was also a restaurant, there was an amazing menu of interesting canapés to go around as well. Our Melbourne DJs and photographers work at restaurants turned event venues all the time and we can say that their menus are very different to the usual food that is on offer at the popular function spaces.

So if their is a local restaurant or bar that you regularly visit, it is worth asking them if they have a function room or even if they hire out their rooms for a private party. It is very handy to hold your event somewhere local and even better if you have already tasted their menu and are familiar with their space.
